FAQ’s about our

Fishing Trips

Question: Do I need to have any fishing experience to book a trip? Answer: Short answer, NO. Our job is to get our clients on the fish no matter what experience you have. Having two Captain’s on board enables us to work with each client 1:1 and to be by your side for any questions you might have. All ages and experience levels are more than welcome to fish with us.

Question: What if my trip gets cancelled? Answer: The majority of our trips go as planned, but there are some circumstances where we may need to cancel your trip. Primary reasons, bad weather, and mechanical issues. If any of the above occur we will refund your deposit. If you are flexible on your trip dates we will work with you to reschedule.

Question: What if I need to cancel my trip? Answer: Good communication can save even a last minute cancellation. If rescheduling for another date doesn’t work and you give us notice we, in general will refund your deposit.

Question: Can we go back to the dock to use the restroom facilities during our fishing trip? Answer: Of course, it is your boat for the day. We want our customers to be comfortable!

Question: What is Buoy 10? Answer: Buoy 10 is a red buoy (one of many) used to mark the shipping lane on the Columbia River and has a number 10 painted on it. Buoy 10 is located near the mouth of the Columbia River. It is also used to mark the outbound fishing boundary before entering the no fishing zone. The “Buoy 10” fishery is from Tongue Point to the Buoy 10 buoy which is roughly 40 sq miles.
